Pencil to Part

Draw it. Print it.

CAD for iPad, made for 3D printing. Go from an idea to a design to a finished print on your Bambu Lab printer with nothing but an iPad and an Apple Pencil. No computer needed, at any step.

One email when it launches. Nothing else, and your address is not shared.

From idea to print, all on the iPad

  1. Sketch it with Apple Pencil. Draw the outline, type in the sizes, and add constraints like level, parallel and same length.
  2. Make it a real part. Extrude, revolve, round and chamfer edges, shell it hollow, cut holes, and combine parts. Change any step later and everything after it follows.
  3. Get it ready for your printer. Pick your Bambu Lab printer and material, lay out the plate, and save a Bambu 3MF with your settings already in it.
  4. Print it. Upload the file to MakerWorld as a private model in Safari, then print it from the Bambu Handy app. The app walks you through each tap.

Print prep powered by Handoff3D

The print screen is built on Handoff3D, the free page that already gets models from an iPad onto Bambu Lab printers: every current machine and nozzle, arranging around the parts of the bed the printer cannot reach, and a file that MakerWorld and Bambu Studio both accept.
